Ring Size Guide
Measuring for Your Ring: Inside Circumference vs. Inside Diameter
- Precise Physical Measurements: The table provides the internal dimensions of the ring, crucial for finding a comfortable fit:circumference (mm): The distance all the way around the inside of the ring. A full circular icon clarifies this measurement.diameter (mm): The distance straight across the widest part of the inside of the ring. An icon with a straight line through a circle clarifies this measurement.
Why Precision Matters: Even a slight difference can affect how a ring sits. This chart provides decimal-place accuracy (e.g., US size 6 equates to an internal circumference of exactly 50.58 mm) for a truly curated fit.
Understanding these two key dimensions is fundamental to using our guide effectively.
- Inside Circumference (Icon: full circle): This represents the total distance around the inside of a ring. When you measure your finger directly with a string or a tape measure, you are measuring the circumference. Use this measurement in the "circumference (mm)" column.
- Inside Diameter (Icon: straight line through circle): This represents the width across the inside of a ring. This measurement is best used when you measure an existing ring that fits you perfectly. Use this measurement in the "diameter (mm)" column.
Pro-Tip: Measuring an existing ring (diameter) is often the most accurate method if you already have a ring that fits well. Be sure to measure from the inside edge only.
